When you are trying to establish or rebuild your credit profile, getting that first approval is the hardest part. Vanquis gave me that opportunity when mainstream lenders wouldn't look twice. I treated this card like a strict financial training tool. By using it exclusively for small, predictable monthly expenses and always clearing the balance in full, it did exactly what it promised. The online management is transparent, and there are no hidden surprises. The interest rate is high, but if you treat it with discipline and pay it off monthly, it costs you absolutely nothing while steadily building your score.
