I was buying something second-hand online from a sel...

I was buying something second-hand online from a seller I didn’t know. I was a bit unsure about sending money directly, so I used PayPal because I’d heard it offers buyer protection. I sent the payment through PayPal in a couple of clicks, and the seller got it instantly. They shipped the item the next day and sent tracking details through PayPal’s message system. A few days later, the parcel arrived exactly as described. What made it feel good for me was the reassurance—if something had gone wrong, I knew I could open a dispute. But everything went smoothly, so I just confirmed delivery and moved on. It felt simple, safe, and quicker than bank transfers or waiting for card payments to clear. Reviewed on: 9th June 2026
