Get rid!!

After many years of using PayPal, I have now stopped using the service entirely and intend to close my account due to the poor handling of a payment dispute. I never received the item I purchased and provided extensive evidence showing my attempts to resolve the issue directly with the seller. Despite this, PayPal failed to adequately investigate my claim or provide a satisfactory resolution. The experience has been so disappointing that I have been forced to escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Unfortunately, this has completely undermined my confidence in PayPal's buyer protection and customer service. Reviewed on: 15th June 2026
