Does exactly what it promises

I’ve used PayPal Pay in 3 several times for larger purchases and have found it to be a convenient way to spread costs without paying interest. The application process is quick, repayments are clearly displayed, and everything can be managed easily through PayPal. The main benefit for me is cash-flow management. I can make a purchase when needed and spread the cost over a short period without having to use a credit card. Payment reminders and visibility of upcoming instalments make it easy to stay on top of repayments. One area that could potentially be improved would be giving customers more flexibility over repayment dates, for example aligning them with their regular payday. However, the current system has worked reliably for me and I’ve never experienced any issues with payments or account management. Overall, PayPal Pay in 3 is a straightforward, reliable service that does exactly what it is designed to do. Reviewed on: 20th June 2026
