Top up PayPal balance for example 200 pounds then set up payment to credit and what happens?? You forgot about other payment or make online purchase and PayPal take of money from the PayPal balance , so it's not enough to cover payment You schedule and they charge customer fee because it was not enough money on your balance. I would say it's crime and rip-off of customers . This money should reserve for payment was placed and PayPal should take any payments above from dedicated Visa card like it's every bank's . I'm thinking to report this to Financial Ombudsman Service Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
