The reason the account was closed was because it was my late mothers account and i needed to close the account for inheritance purposes with the family members. I have a number of accounts in mine and my husbands name and we have been with Mansfield Building Society for over 50 years with our first house purchase and savings through the years. Service poor in recent years

I have saved with you for a number of years and have what I would consider quite a lot of money held with you, between myself and my husband. The service over the last couple of years has gone down hill to the point I would consider moving my money elsewhere. The staff fail to follow simple instructions, have been quite rude and often act in an unprofessional manner. I was recently told that not posting out a pass book, is not a service you offer. I have never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. I asked you not to spend money in posting something and I had good reason, as the last time you posted something when I asked you not to (on multiple occasions), it went missing. I have used you because of what some would consider a more personal approach, however, this seems to no longer be you attitude towards customers. Reviewed on: 18th August 2023
