Revolutionary banking

I was on holiday in the Gambia. First time so decided to top up Revolut and use that. Within 1 hour of arrival my card was retained in the ATM after I delayed confirming how much to withdraw. I was able to freeze my card immediately (amazing) giving me peace that no fraud could be done but also not forcing me to cancel the card which would have left me completely strabded even though I had a possibility of getting it back. Being able to freeze the card and also check to monitor the account via the app kept me so reassured and at peace. I went to the local branch with my ID and was given back the physical card and was immediately able to unfreeze it and enjoy my holiday with cash and my card functioning. Revolut is in another league when it comes to banking for today. Even when I got back I was in a line with strangers trying to buy a train ticket home. As we approached the board there was a discount for a group of 3. I looked at the two guys and said lets be a group. We then thought how do we sort out the paying.... we all had revolut cards! So in that instance one paid and the other two effortlessly revoluted the amount we owed with great prompts from the app, so clear, practical, user intuitive and easy. Even my initial set up was amazing! I was able to set up my Revolut card abroad with full security, within an hour and have a virtual card enabled by Google pay to make my international purchases without paying an exchange fee.
