Review of the Revolut, Personal Account:

Indispensable as a secondary account

Revolut isn't a one-size-fits-all solution to personal financing, and I wouldn't switch to it as my main bank, but the services it specializes in have become so indispensable for me, I now consider an account with them a necessity for anyone, regardless of their main bank. While transfers from Revolut to other banks can take a while (up to 4 days in my experience!) the 0% comission charged on them and currency conversion, as well as little treats such as integrated cryptocurrency trading and savings options, make an account with them one of those few things that you have no excuse not to get. And lots of people do end up making an account, as the process takes minutes, and is more hassle-free than having a banker do it for you in a large physical branch. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2020
