Don't change your vehicle

Everything was going great until I changed my car. I checked with By-miles to make sure they could cover my new car and was told they could so my car purchase went ahead. Once I got the car home I called By-miles to update my policy. Once my new car showed on their system, I was then told that they can't cover my new car so they cancelled my policy and charged me £50.00 cancellation fee. So be warned if you intend to ever change your vehicle to a fully electric one. Reviewed on: 27th October 2020

Why hasn't someone done this before

I'm not an everyday driver as I no longer work due to poor health and a blue badge holder. The running cost of car ownership were crippling me (no pun intended) but I couldn't be without my own transportation. So when I heard about "by miles" I honestly couldn't believe it and I started looking for the catch, well long story short there simply isn't one and I'm saving money every time I don't drive so at last I'm not being penalised for being a low mileage driver.
