Review of the Saga, Car insurance:

Excellent service

I am an NHS nurse working in general practice. During the lockdown of 2020, as a surgery, we decided that all of our shielded patients would receive any care needed via a home visit from us. I usually walk to work so called Saga to increase my cover. The lady I spoke to was amazingly helpful and polite. The surgery I work at would’ve happily reimbursed any extra outlay for me but saga charged nothing extra on my policy and gave me the cover that I needed to be able to do my job. It was explained to me by the lady that I spoke to that the free cover was because they did not want to put any extra pressure on the NHS . I was extremely grateful for this. At the end of our conversation the lady thanked the NHS for all the hard work and dedication that we give. I was humbled at this, as we get up and go to work daily to do our job because we love it. But, a little extra from a company or person goes a long way as although people/companies are grateful to the NHS we are also grateful for the support we have received during this difficult year.
