Disgusting company, been pestered now for a cancellation charge against me for a policy they cancelled themselves due to non disclosure of an incident I was totally unaware of. It's been proven by Action 365 that it was a case of mistaken identity Vanline Direct still want to charge me this fee dating back to March 2020, over 5 years ago. Called them numerous times and tried to resolve this explaining the decision made against me by Action 365 who investigate insurance claims(Another dodgy company used by Vanline Direct). A rep explained that they were going to look into thia matter further but low and behold following day recieved another email chasing me for this fee. I'm pulling my hair out with this disgusting company and going round in circles, they're threatening to take money out of an account of mine that is on their records so I've cancelled the card so this won't happen and I will be seeking legal action against these criminals because they're absolutely doing my swede in. How can a company charge you a cancellation fee on a policy they cancelled themselves due to a case of mistaken identity and without reason absolutely pester you threatening all sorts, they use scare tactics in their emails to you, threaten your credit score and threaten you with the fact that taking out further insurance with any other insurance company will be very difficult. Never touch this company please, they cancelled my insurance over an alleged incident that's not been proven either way even after I submitted evidence from a local constabulary stating no evidence to support alleged incident. I Had protected no claims, but still want to charge me cancellation fee(I didn't cancel it myself). I arranged another insurance via a comparison site and low and behold I was taken to Vanline Direct again to my horror after I'd oaid another deposit. Insurance on my van this time was considerably more than the policy that was cancelled by themselves in 1st place. Anyway after a rep called me up soon after new quote wasnt accepted regarding price and had to wait til next morning for a revised quote and I accepted based ob an alleged incident as mentioned before. Within a week or so I received another call from these reprobates demanding a further £600+ to be added to my premuum. This is ongoing and now they have forwarded my details onto a debt collection agency demanding another payment. This is ongoing and I really am at my wits end with this company as they've also sent me an email telling me theyre going to cancel my insurance again and further demand a cancellation fee, I've been in touch with ombudsmen and they dont seem to be of much help whatsoever, I need help big time Reviewed on: 6th October 2020
