Warm & friendly welcome

I required a "short time" savings account to collect donations from nursing colleagues spread around the country to enable us to make a donation to Marie Curie on our behalf in memory of one of our group who has sadly & suddenly died & lives in Wales. My bank was unhelpful but the staff & Newbury Building Society were extremely helpful, kind & caring & explained everything in full . Making a sad occasion a pleasant experience. Thank you. Opening Senior Savings account as new customer

Basingstoke Branch. We were able to book a face-to-face appointment for the next day. Met at the agreed time by Richard and taken through the new customer/new account process by him. Very personable and easier to have him input the data than my wife and I attempting to. Process was a little lengthy but we achieved our aim in one visit, so this was appreciated by us.
