First contact with Newbury Building Society

I had a need for a savings account and had heard good things about the Newbury. I had done some research by checking out the Society’s website, and as the local branch is within walking distance for me, it was an easy decision to follow up my research with a personal visit. Isabel in the branch made me very welcome and explained an excellent option for a savings account. Opening the account was straighforward and simple. A few signatures and a simple ID check. Excellent customer service

We recently switched mortgage products with Newbury after a 5 year initial term. The staff at Newbury are very professional, extremely responsive, and very clear in their explanation of the options available. The transaction was completed in a few days and required one phone call and follow up emails and secure messages. This was largely due to the efficiency and clarity of the Newbury staff.
