Confusing accounts data

Tried to transfer 400 k from another account only to be told by the bank that details seem incorrect so will visit basingstoke branch this morning to find out issues ! Reviewed on: 25th August 2023

Transaction 24 Aug pm

It seemed to take a very long time for the cashier to put a cheque into my account. I was surprised to be asked a number of questions about the origin of the money e.g. whether it was 'savings', 'income not immediately required' etc. It was disappointing after the very efficient opening of my account in the same branch at 1000 hours on 21 August. No similar questions were asked then. Reviewed on: 25th August 2023
