Mortgage Application

This was done through my mortgage broker but was easier than I expected. The longest part was filling in the forms, as to be expected, but there were not too many other issues to deal with and you kept me up to date with interest rate rises throughout the process. My aim in due course is to switch to a holiday let mortgage so I hope that will be just as easy! Reviewed on: 30th June 2023

Hungerford Apt

I had a lovely appointment in Hungerford, the staff were very friendly and professional. Daisy the lady who completed my appointment was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable as finance is not my forte! A bit clunky

As per the title really. Not the easiest online banking service to set up or use. It works OK but is a little time consuming, old fashioned and ‘clunky’. All good though. I love that you still have high street branches and human beings to talk to. If they close - I leave, but until then I love using the Newbury Building Society. Reviewed on: 30th June 2023

Really good experience remortgaging

Great customer service, everything went smoothly except getting the redemption statement from our current lender. They wouldn’t accept Newbury’s request as they’re not an authorised legal services provider, so it was a bit fiddly and took an extra day. But otherwise good. Reviewed on: 30th June 2023
