Revolut is a bank I can trust and my most used app ever

Revolut is my most used app ever. There is so much to do other than checking your balance. You can get some great discount codes & money off purchases. I recently used my points to buy a 3 figure voucher for Amazon just before Christmas, this helped me so much. Ive had 2 issues in the past where I have asked Revolut to help. The Customer Service was fab! the first issue was resolved straight away. The second took a while but Revolut kept me up to date on the process with regular emails and eventually the case was resolved in my favour. I can't rate this bank enough, I highly recommend anyone to open an account. I know I can trust Revolut and that is the most important thing for me. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

They kicked me out when I received my pension pot

I thought the app/bank was great and was really happy until one day (Black Friday) I was shopping with my Daughter and Sister in the sales. Suddenly I received a message on my app asking me where I had received a large payment from? This was a pension withdrawal that had happened a few weeks prior. The problem was there was not "pension withdrawal" on the list to choose from (there were only a few options). I could not use the app until I chose an option so I chose one (I think it was payment from a friend or family member). This then allowed me to get back into the app and continue shopping. A few days later Monzo informed me that they are closing my account and to find a different bank, they also said they can not tell me the reason why. I had 2 months to find a new bank. I was devastated, it was such an inconvenience, around Christmas too. I tried to appeal but they werent having it. I was so stressed and upset and then I looked on Google and it appears this happens all the time. I am glad I went to Revolut who really support me. I am at retirement age, after another pension withdrawal into my Revolut account, Revolut asked me where I got the money from, I was nervous this would happen again but Revolut was great. They gave me the option to tell them and also I could send my proof as an attachment in the app, then after investigating, I received a wonderful email saying thank you for clearing up the matter and we hope you are enjoying our bank. I love this bank. They really look after you. You get the heads up on payments due and the customer service support is fabulous. I have an ongoing dispute over a payment and even if things are not moving too fast, they constantly keep you up to date on what is happening, what to expect next and which part of the process we are currently at. I could not ask for more. The thing I love most is the additional cards you can have if you are not sure of the on-line site you are using, you can create a new card in the app just for that purpose. There are so many offers in the app for discount. I went for a meal with my family and a few seconds after paying I received a payment from Revolut in my account. I was shocked, I did not even know that restaurant had a deal with Revolut. I did not have to do anything except pay for our meal. It was a delightful surprise. Reviewed on: 5th April 2024

When payments go up, your salary changes, or you need to add something to your plan, they are always there to help. The account you are given is very clear and informative with a complete view of everything and everyone linked, including balances, latest payments, amounts paid to date - and agreements with creditors are attached as files. Questions are answered and queries resolved usually the same day. Payplan have been my saviour since Covid times, they have saved me from depression or worse and given me a light at the end of the tunnel. I remember my very dark cloud the first day I contacted them, I can't thank them enough for switching on that light again. Reviewed on: 15th June 2023
