amazing customer service

I have been with L&G for a year now and found it really easy to sign up for home insurance. I haven't had to make a claim yet luckily, but I've found them really helpful and their website is great. Reviewed on: 1st September 2019

Best bank in my experience

Not the best card for me

Firstly the APR is high. I know it's variable but there are better deals. I've never had the perks that are supposed to come with the card when shopping at Debenhams like free delivery for instance. I've also been charged a cash withdrawal fee and I've never withdrawn cash from it. The statements are always not what I was expecting, much higher. Probably because of the interest. I can't wait to clear the balance or do a transfer to a 0% card. Contact is ok most of the time but... Reviewed on: 1st May 2017

Best bank I've been with

I swapped initially just for the reward offered but since changing to the Halifax I've been really surprised with how good they are. The service is much more personal from my local branch rather than a call centre. The app is simple and I can do everything I need on it. Reviewed on: 1st May 2017

A breath of fresh air

I switched a year ago from another bank and I'm so glad I did. Halifax have fantastic customer service, much more personal and friendly. It's easy to speak to my branch rather than being redirected all over the place. The app does everything I need it to do and it's so easy to use.
