Amazing for new residents in the UK

When I first arrived in London, the traditional banks gave me such grief when trying to set up an account. They enforced appointments - which they couldn't give me until weeks after I'd arrive - and they were particularly cold in communications. After so much desperation, Monzo saved me by approving my new account in such a fantastically short time. Without a UK account, I couldn't pay my rent, get a UK sim card for my phone, even have my salary transferred to me... it was imperative I didn't wait weeks. Monzo was just amazing, makes transactions transparently traceable, payments amongst friends easy, and holiday travel care-free. Highly recommend! The other banks were so desperate to catch up to them, and they've not yet succeeded! Reviewed on: 13th April 2021
