Review of the Monzo, Current account:

The most user friendly bank - both personal & business

I've been a Monzo user since 2017 and this year I've opened a business account. The top benefits for me: - incredibly sleek and easy to use app - super fast and smooth set-up and support experience - amazing exchange rate (used it in over 15 countries) The real time notifications and ease of transferring & receiving money were so good that the high street banks copied them (not quickly enough though). Moreover, whenever I had issues with Barclays I had to either go to the branch or wait quite a while on the calling queue. The Monzo customer support always replied in less than 30 min (when you call them they pick up instantly). Since setting up Monzo, I lived in 5 countries and travelled to another 10. Never had to open a local account or worry about the exchange rate. Monzo for business is still in its infancy and there's plenty to add on the roadmap. As a small company, it is perfect for managing my cash. Also, the flashy pink card is a great conversation starter, especially when you meet another Monzo user at the bar.
