Superb!

Not just a place to store money, but keep it organised as well. It's really simple to keep track of your spending and exactly where it's going. Simple saving tools. A really clear and fast app the works all the time without a really slow login process. Support has been great whenever there's been issues with retailers and everything gets sorted out really quickly. They also explain really clearly exactly what's going on. Doesn't feel like a bank - that's great!

Traditionally banks still have the imagine portrayed in Mary Poppins! That I think is fair for most banks still where anything you need of them is full of unexplained hoops to jump through. Monzo seem to have figured out that it's my money I've trusted them to look after and make it easy to do what's needed, splitting it into groups (pots), opening or closing savings, round up saving. But most importantly is instant account updates, so you always know where you stand, and if something is wired there's always someone on chat to look into it and are very informative about how money systems work when explaining things that look weird to average Joe. Favourite extra is receiving my pay packet a day early. Just makes sorting bills way easier! Reviewed on: 13th April 2021
