My Thoughts From Multiple Countries - Monzo Outshines Them All

I've had the displeasure of using multiple banks across multiple countries. No bank has ever been great, they've all made life difficult and seem like they don't really care about you.. Until Monzo. Monzo have always been absolutely fantastic. From the outset, setting up an account was a breeze. I landed in the country on a Sunday at 5am, by that Tuesday at 3pm I had my card and was logged into my shiny new account. Anytime I've ever needed assistance, it was ridiculously easy to get help from a real person. No automatrons that don't understand what you say or type, no endless loops of "I'm sorry, I don't understand, please try again" The few occasions I have run into fairly serious issues with my card details being skimmed and fraudulent transations, Monzo has swooped in and helped resolve my issues and had a new card shipped out. (Related sidebar, the speed at which Monzo can ship out a new card is just about unbelievable in comparison to others) I've recommended Monzo countless times to colleagues who move to the UK, and they're always impressed at how easy dealing with Monzo is. My only criticism of Monzo is that they haven't launched in Australia, which means when I do eventually move home, I need to go back to dealing with horrible banks that make you want to bang your head against a wall repeatedly. (If you read this Monzo peeps, please, please launch in Australia! I don't want to go back to the 'others') Reviewed on: 15th April 2021
