Helpful & responsive customer service, great app & company transparency. This is how banking should be!

Rather than wait on hold forever with other banks, you can chat with Monzo's customer service in the app and they'll reply as soon as they can while you go about your day. Phone support is there but there's rarely a time when it's needed as everything can be done online. App is great and just works, it's also very customer-centric. My old bank would block my card and a payment whenever they deemed it to be 'fraud'. Monzo's intelligent systems either knows it's me making the payment because of biometrics or other security, or they make it very easy for me to verify the payment. No need to call anyone & waste time, the app takes care of it all. This isn't the bank for you if you really value face to face, in-branch interactions with bank staff. But then Monzo never claimed it was a bank to replace them all. I'm in my 30s but for many older & younger people alike, Monzo makes banking easy. Never a hassle, always a pleasure.
