Review of the Scottish Building Society, Savings:

Proper service, consistently

I've been a member of Scottish Building Society for a number of years now. For long enough, I didn't have money to spare and now that I have some, I'm pleased to place it with Scottish Building Society. Like many places, rates aren't great right now but the service has been wonderful the whole time I have been with them. They're big enough to be impressive but not too big to have the human touch and to adopt a common sense approach where it differs from the rules. Anytime I have had an issue, it has been resolved without the need to make it more than that. Last year, during the early stages of Covid-19, I was living away from home and the support and assistance I received from Scottish Building Society staff to deal with my accounts without access to my passbooks was exceptional, although now I've said that, my experience is that it is NORMAL for Scottish Building Society to be exceptional. It's difficult to know who to trust these days but Scottish Building Society has my trust and my loyalty. Some of those who have contributed to this are Claire Swanson, Kath Brown, Carol Gibson, Audrey Smith and Lynn Gordon.
