Tech Meets Insurance

I came across ByMiles after being quoted four figures for my renewal by Hastings after moving to Manchester. I require business use insurance for my job and so this was pushing Hastings up further too - it got to a point where I was thinking about giving up my car. But along came ByMiles! Driving only 4000 miles a year I was able to save my self £1000 based on the renewal Hastings wanted me to take - and that was their 'best offer'!!! I plugged the little device into my car's socket and off we went, GPS tracking, instant milage calculation (pence/per mile), and fuel cost too! ByMiles gives me the Monzo of the Insurance world vibes and makes everything smoother, cheaper and better for myself as a customer. I can change my address and car instantly 3 times per policy without an Admin fee, compared to £25 per change with Hastings. I can use the tool to see my instant costs per journey so I can know by the end of the month how much I will be charged. There is a little diagnostic code reader built into the device and so this is amazing and has helped me find out an underlying issue with my car that was causing it to stall randomly. Oh and before I forget - Hastings charged £80 to protect my No Claims Discount - ByMiles this is included as standard with every policy.
