Honestly a really good service and idea.

Myself and my family were a little skeptical at first as I had never heard of ‘bymiles’ but only working part time and barely using my car during lockdowns I thought it was a great choice. I normally pay for the year upfront so this is a little strange paying bits off monthly but it seems to be working well! I love the idea that you can keep track of your car if it gets stolen and it sends me notifications on each journey I make when my car is parked. If I forget where I park it I can easily fo onto the app and find my car! I’ve already recommend my friends who I know don’t drive so much to see if they can save too. This was by far the cheapest quote and I managed to knock off £300 from my previous insurer even with their ‘discounts’. The only thing that was a little scary is driving at night and the tracker was flashing but once I got used to it it’s not really an issue. I tend not to drive at night anyway. You can easily diagnose any faults that it might pick up on your car too which is so handy to save you looking up every warning light. I’ve been looking into upping my miles per month to a few more, you can make three free changes a year. I look forward to the end of my year with bymiles to see how much I managed to save!
