This company for me is by far fantastic, I didn't start driving in my life until I was 26, my first car which I still have is BMW 320i which for a new driver even at my age at the time was £290 a month on insurance for my first year, then my second and third year at the age of 27/28 I was still paying around £200 per month. With me loving the car that I have this was never important to me on how much I was paying because to me it was worth it.. but then I came across Bymiles and after paying there £99 fee at the start, I honestly couldn't belive how much I'm saving now still at this date, I was very sceptical at first as you think a company like this would scratch your eyes out with some "hidden loophole" they had in there terms and conditions but... after over a year now I've just saved and saved every month, I do about 500-600 mile a month and only pay around £60-70, this dose also include the standard £30 it automatically starts off on each month also. I had a stone chip in my first year of using bymiles wich started to really effect my windscreen to the point were I needed this replaced.. and that was soo easy, I used there live chat on the app and before you know it I was booked in the same week to get this replaced with a charge of £75. Would I recommend these to friends and family, absolutely! If you are like me and are a late driver paying high insurance prices per month, or your a new driver or may have had previous driving conditions etc, this is definitely for you, but I would say if you have been driving for year and have loads of experience and no claims on you, then I cant see you saving much with bymiles, as you do, pay by mile (7p). Now you may be wondering why I've only give these 4 stars, that's because I'm yet to go over my daily limit of 150 miles, now according to my policy, you dont pay anything over the 150 miles if its within that day, so every mile after that is free, but agian, I'm yet to discover this. Everything else from driving, using there app for not only getting parts of my car fixed, but using there car medic to run OBD scans right from my phone, and the best part, precisely pin pointing my car with there built in tracker from my app. If your also sceptical of this company, I assure you I have covered everything I possibly can from my experience and would honestly recommend these to anyone I come across in my driving situation or similar.
