Peace of mind

I always thought the house insurance covered my cycling liability so it was a bit of a shock when I found electric bikes were excluded from theft and also liability. Every time I cycled near a pedigree dog or family with children I felt aware of my financial exposure. I got a few quotes for insurance and the amounts were more than my car. a friend suggested Cycle plan and the quote was very good for liability. The theft quote was the best I had been offered but still very expensive, it highlighted the temptation these bikes make for thieves so I now keep the wheels and battery in the house and the bike frame and motor in the garage locked up.
