Peace of mind that my banking is not harming the world in ways I can't see.

I chose to bank with Triodos because I try to make ethical choices as a consumer - I don't like the idea that my money - held in a saving accounts for example with a bank - would be part of a system of financing harmful activities, companies or countries. When news comes out about unethical practices by other banks and the fines they need to pay, I feel I made the right choice for me, and it would be great if more and more people made this choice - people do have power if they vote with their feet and their wallets...
