Great Banking for Kids - so simple to use

Account links easily to the adult account. Transfers are seamless. Easy to provide a payment link for grandparents or others that want to contribute to the child's account. Small monthly fee. Kids love the simplicity and feeling of independence. Has really encouraged a saving mindset in my boys who enjoy watching their balance rise on their own dedicated app. Great experience all round. Excellent way to teach children to save

Both my boys age 10 and 13 use Starling Kite. They love being able to access their savings account with their own app and debit card. It has really motivated them to put money away and both have got ambitious savings plans now. As a parent I love being notified when they use their Kite cards as I can have discussions with them if the sweets budget is looking a bit out of control!! Excellent service from Starling, great app which is easy to navigate and full of useful information, I would definitely recommend this for kids. P.S there is a small charge for each savings space you set up, if kids are using a bank card but I feel it is good value. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022
