Its a yes from me...

My niece was 14 when I set her up with a Kite account. She knows the value of cash but did not understand how different using a card and having a bank account could be. Covid made it difficult for her to spend her money as society went on a cash ban. Having Kite means she has managed her money better, she saved up to spend at Christmas and enjoyed being able to use her own card in different shops. Having the app allowed her to regularly check her balance so she can see whats available when she is out with friends and has meant she has made better choices with her money. I highly recommend Kite, not only is it brilliant (I love that I can ensure she doesn't use it online) and can set limits. But the fees are minimal and better than other competitors cards which are similar Reviewed on: 4th February 2022
