Excellent way of saving without noticing

Chip was introduced to me by a work colleague. I put much thought into joining as I felt apprehensive about sharing access to my finances in an unconventional way. I needn’t have delayed my decision, it’s so easy to save at a level that suits you. I save on average approx £150 per month which I would otherwise spend. I’m not far off saving 2k, but it would have been more if I hadn’t needed to withdraw. I’m saving the money for either a car or home improvements, and I’m doing it without feeling any impact to my finances. It’s easy to withdraw funds if you need to but when you reach a certain level of savings it seems a shame to take the money out. For anyone thinking of getting a Chip account, go for it, I recommend it. Reviewed on: 1st March 2022
