Great Service and they answer the phone within a few rings, no options just straight through to a customer service adviser.

have banked with First Direct for a couple of years now and have been really impressed. Their service is the best I've ever had and I've banked with quite a few over the years. When you call them it is answered within a couple of rings by a customer service representative. No press 1 for blah blah then wait for 10 mins to then be transferred to another department. The customer service representatives are polite and helpful. They deal with all my enquires very quickly without having to transfer me to other departments. The online banking system that uses your phone to generate codes for various services took me a couple of attempts to get my head round, but now its very easy and simple. I have been tempted by current promotions to switch current account for a cash bonus. The question is £150 free cash to switch or stick with a bank that has such excellent service? My time is precious and i think £150 cash is not compensation enough for my sanity! Reviewed on: 8th November 2017
