A must have for many reasons.

It’s great that you can just top up your card for the amount you need for a night out. Takes away the worry of losing your bank card and potentially losing a lot of money. I know you can cancel cards immediately these days but in a short space of time before you realise you’ve lost it a great deal of damage can be done. Also using your card abroad is a plus with transactions immediately relayed to your phone converting your purchases into sterling. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026
