THE ethical bank!

Getting the criticism out of the way first..... Despite being around for so long, occasionally I have issues around security confirmation and on-line recognition. Moving on to the good stuff. As well as doing the obvious, like lending ethically and being 'green' in their day-to-day operations, Triodos take additional, more innovative steps, for example: - Triodos have an on-line AGM. This is more accessible to those not able to attend in person (ability, time, money, etc), as well as reducing the carbon footprint by not having everyone travelling and provide resources at a large venue. - Triodos are actively involved in working with other banks to consider more people and planet friendly ways of working. - My favourite initiative: Making mortgages cheaper and more easily available the more sustainable the property - You want the money for a passive house, you say? Let us help you fund and support this aspiration by providing a cheaper mortgage! :-) Reviewed on: 18th January 2023
