1st class service

I paid for my shopping in Morrisons, I was notified on my Apple Watch & phone that money had been paid to Morrisons, (not a small either) but their till then declined my payment… the manager said it would probably go back into my account the next day or so… not good when it’s a few days before payday & no other means of paying for my shopping. Contacted Chase by the phone icon on the Chase app, got through to a lovely lad in seconds who explained it was something called a ghost transaction because the supermarket system had timed out & requested payment again, I sent a photo of my declined receipt & the money was back in my account within the hour.
