Saving made easy

I’ve been using the Chip App for a few years now and love that I can set goals to help me plan and budget for expenses like Christmas and holidays. So easy to adjust the amounts it puts aside, and set to the savings mode that’s right for me. If things are tight it’ll put a few pounds away which can still add up fast and I don’t even really notice the amounts as the algorithms work so well to learn normal spending patterns. The interest rates for savings are often so much higher than other high street banks and with money easily accessible you’re not penalised for wanting to access your money either. The app keeps a running total of any interest earnings which with everything going up these days is nice to see that you’re actually gaining in the year even if only a small amount relatively speaking. I’ve recommended this app to many people and believe that it offers much more than many high street banking apps. So much easier to open new accounts within the company than other banks too. Leading the way in helping people to make the most of their money. It really feels like Chip want the regular person to benefit rather than finding ways to charge extra or lock you in to fixed terms to get a decent savings rate. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023
