Triodos account experience

The app is good, although not as sophisticated as some larger banks. On occasions when I have needed to contact someone, it is easy to speak to someone on the phone, and they are are polite, helpful and obviously well trained. They are also based in this country which is good. Overall customer service is much better than other banks. Being online only and having no branches is an obvious slight negative. I choose Triodos because it is by far the most ethical choice among banks in the UK. Reviewed on: 9th March 2025

Excellent customer service

I experienced a problem with a direct debit not being taken from my Triodos current account to another company. I contacted both parties, but only Triodos actually listened, took it seriously and ascertained that no DD mandate had ever been sent by the other company (who didn’t investigate and didn’t care). Having contacted Triodos before, the staff are always polit and seek to be helpful. Reviewed on: 7th April 2023
