Mixed feelings from a user since beta and lack of features

I have been with Monzo since beta many years ago. Support used to be good but over the years it has declined and now you even get staff that tell you wrong things on live chat. Then pass you on so they get away from it. I have been waiting for features they scrapped after promising they were coming. Cheque imaging isn't a thing with Monzo. You have to post them freepost and they get lost. Or you pay recorded which is a joke tbh. Imaging is needed. Posting a cheque is really stupid and archic. If that cheque gets lost, you have to get the person to reissue it... 99% of banks with cheques have cheque imaging. Monzo are NOT working on it at all. IBAN is a big one. They recently announced IBAN for Europe after many years of people asking for it, but not to the USA still even though so many people ask for it. So you have to use Wise for international payments still.. No IBAN wo the USA and no cheque imaging still after all these years Also customer support is poor now. You get passed around between staff and some just post random unrelated things. I even had one blame payment issues on something I haven't ever used for RECEIVING not making payments. So it wasn't even close to being related but they blamed a random thing that it wasn't. Then passed me onto someone else who said the opposite. Then they passed me on, Then they passed me on etc. Goes on like this. Replies are slow now and can take days, especially if it has been passed onto someone else. I had payment issues with 3D secure as apparently their system should reply back with a code after you approve a transaction in the app so that it can finalise, but this didn't happen on ANY 3D secure transaction so they said it was a issue on the shops payment provider end. Then they asked me to contact the shop about it, but that shop is a Chinese online store that is famous for bad support. I spent 9 hours on there total and they don't understand. Surely it should be the bank speaking to their payment provider, not me speaking via the shop who don't understand payment issues?! So this never got resolved. With the lack of features vs other banks and poor support, I can't recommend Monzo. Some app banks have interest on balance or cashback on card payments. Meanwhile Monzo has the most minimalistic features and even a paid plan! I personally think the paid subscription and working on monzo USA before getting the bank more up to date with features, was a bad idea.
