I ran into some difficulty as I am on Maternity leave and couldn't pay on my usual repayment date. I asked for an extension, as my universal credit came in at a later date, but I received no help. Instead I was threatened with the usual late payment fees. Disappointing that your not seen as a human, with real life issues. Reviewed on: 25th March 2026

Smooth & positive experience with Bamboo!

Getting a loan from Bamboo was a smooth and easy experience. The monthly payments were reasonable and I didn't have any issues across the term. It was very simple to manage my account on the portal, and paying back extra amounts was ver helpful and easy. I would definitely recommend Bamboo loans and I would use them again if I had to.
