My speaker was replaced extremely quickly

I had a speaker go down. I needed a repair or replacement quickly. It was quickly decided repair was not an option and a new one was obtained very quickly. Reviewed on: 24th September 2025

Easy to claim, quick to pay out.

When one of my speakers developed a fault, it couldn't have come at a worse time. Especially when I had the fault diagnosed, and the parts weren't available any more. I then remembered I had insurance through Insure4music. I looked at the T&C's and saw I was indeed covered for breakdown as well as damage. Great! But after I called in, I found out there is a time limit when you're supposed to claim. The agent on the phone was very understanding and processed my claim. Even though I'd had the speakers a few years and not have proof of purchase, Insure4music settled my claim in a very short time. I was over the moon. From beginning to end, every agent I spoke to was so helpful and friendly. My renewal came through on an email this morning, I have no hesitation in accepting the renewal quote. Absolutely fantastic. Fast payment and easy process for claiming.

This is my first year with Insure4music, so when I had a speaker go faulty, I was a little anxious. Especially when I'd not remembered I'd taken this policy out until 5 weeks after the speaker went down. After an initial phone call and claims process, I was made aware that members were usually meant to claim within 4 weeks of the fault. But my claim was put through anyway. One problem I had was that I had had the speakers a few years and didn't have original receipts of purchase, although I could supply photos for proof of ownership from a few years previous. I also had to get an engineers report on the fault, which I had already. I was very pleased when I received a phone call a few days later confirming my claim had been authorised and my payment, the cost of a like for like new for old replacement, minus my excess, would be in my bank account in a few days. Sure enough, it was. The 3 people I talked with over the phone couldn't have been more professional and polite. Amazing service. Reviewed on: 14th July 2023
