Review of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, Motorhome insurance:

Had a break in over 2 weeks ago. Reported it to the number provided who are the “claim handling agents” who only wanted to know what happened - not where, how or what was taken. They said this would now goto the insurance provider AXA who would be in touch but not sure when and gave me a number and ref number if I didn’t hear from them. 2 weeks later, nothing from AXA, 6 phone calls always in a queue without getting through. Don’t bother calling at weekend - they only do Mon to Friday. Contacted Devitt to be told they are only the broker and can’t help and to contact 4th dimension the claim handlers, who I had already. Week 3 now and still no contact from AXA and not got through to them. Very, very poor service all round. Cannot recommend this. Better to be direct with an insurer and not through a broker. Reputation falls back on the Club. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2023
