Appalling service

We had a burst pipe in the roof space 15 December 2022. We told driers needed before any repair work. . No driers installed until 15 March. No plasterers or decorators were able to come until 25 May, after that it 6 weeks before light fittings replaced. Arranged to get carpet quote ourselves and saga to reimburse us 15 July. Work all finished August. Total of 50 phone calls, numerous emails, many unreturned phone calls. Had a letter of apology from Saga for long delay, and overall lack of communication. Was sent a bouquet of flowers plus £350 compensation. However had still to pay total of £550 excess and renewal of insurance had gone up £100. Haven't a good thing to say about my dealings with Saga house insurance. Reviewed on: 11th October 2023
