I've used Monzo since they were just a wee prepaid card app, and as soon as they became a bank I moved my salary over and never looked back. People kept telling me it was risky because Monzo was so new, but I'd never had such an easy banking experience before. Simple to log in securely, simple to manage my money, simple to save. Immediate realtime warnings if I go into my overdraft - and the overdraft charge is like 1p a day. Nothing like high street banks. The forum is fantastic, they genuinely seem to listen and work with customers to make their decisions, explain their reasons behind certain changes, and work to make their app better. The customer service is great and the products they offer are genuinely useful. The only time I've had to wait longer than a day for a response (non-urgent issue) was literally on New Year's Eve, and even then they responded the next day. I even pay £15 a month for premium, which if you knew how stingy I am, you'd realise is a big deal lol. Reviewed on: 12th January 2024
