Stuck in a rutt with the contactless & auto card blocking after five transactions. Initially I liked the product to start with to introduce my children to be independent in the world of money and making payments. We soon then ran into dark issues of the card automatically blocking after five transactions which embarrasses the child. I can understand it's a security measure but it's also scared the children in using it as it declines. You cannot simply remember every fifth purchase you have made to know to enter the pin to reset it again each time. Also shop keepers encourage to use contactless firstly so again added pressure. I've asked customer service if they can take that feature off but they have refused as an option as its supposed to be a security measure. I just feel it's frightened my daughter so much it's defeated the object of being a young person's card. I'm sure there can be a better way of doing this! We also live out in the sticks so there is no ATM as they suggest how to reset it using the ATM. Reviewed on: 12th February 2025

I opened a brand new account so I could get two rooster cards. So far so good! The children are enjoying requesting my approval of completed chores. Great little touch that they can add a picture also. Reviewed on: 6th April 2024
