Banking has come on a long way

I need to hold funds in two currencies - being able to convert instantaneously and without fees (I've upgraded from the basic package) is very important. Spending in different countries with one card is a breath of fresh air. Reviewed on: 7th February 2026

Fast, great to be able to hold several currencies

Money transferred to Revolut is credited immediately, transferring between currencies is fast and easy and it's extremely efficient to be able to hold several currencies on one card - this makes our life so much easier when travelling. It's also very easy to view how much money is held in each currency. Transfers out of Revolut are also immediate. The only 'slight' negative is that I'm never 100% sure how much money I'm going to need in any particular currency in one month so end up making a number of small conversions, which after a certain point incurs fees, although in Revolut's defense I've not yet taken the time to research this further as I find the process so convenient I haven't felt the need to look any further!
