Great Service, but One Glitch Cost Me a Penalty

I’ve used PayPal Credit many times—it's a very convenient way to pay for expensive products. However, during my last experience, I faced an issue while trying to link my account to pay in installments. I followed all the steps, and although I received a confirmation message, it turned out that my bank account wasn’t linked properly. This caused a payment issue, and I ended up getting a penalty. I called customer support, and they were helpful in advising me on how to fix the issue, which I appreciated. But I believe the process should be improved and made easier. At the very least, PayPal should have notified me when the linking failed so I could address it in time. Getting a bad credit mark for something that wasn’t your fault is the last thing anyone wants.
