Raisin will hold your money as hostage.

Raisin, an entirely online banking service, makes it extremely difficult to withdraw the funds I unfortunately deposited with them. They want a statement from my current checking account, which I sent them. Now they want a statement for an account that was closed two years ago, which I cannot obtain. In addition these two statements, they want me to get a notarized proof of my identity and snail mail it, along with a form, to their headquarters. They give no clue before opening the account that it is next to impossible to withdraw my money. Reviewed on: 28th March 2025

Easy to use once you know how

Raisin has some competitive interest rates, but you need to know how to use the app which can be daunting to start with so could potentially put some people off in opening accounts with Raisin. There are accounts to choose of that suit your lifestyle so you can mix and match accounts under one umbrella and keep your eye on where your savings are and how they are doing. Very easy to use site, some great rates and no issues.

Very easy to use site, some great rates and I have no issues with my investments. I did have an issue with a recommendation that I made a mistake with, did not have the outcome I would have liked as the cashback I was expecting I did not receive. Like I said it was my mistake but thought Raisin could have been a bit more flexible. I will just have to me more careful in the furture. Reviewed on: 8th February 2025
