Pretty, user-friendly and fun!

Revolut is straight forward to use and so user-friendly- you can customise to your hearts content whilst also tracking your expenditure. So at least it looks aesthetic whilst the coins come flying out (but I love that you can choose the percent of how much you 'round' up your payments so you're saving in the background whilst spending. Their exchange rates are usually very fair and their physical card designs are unique and ever-expanding. You can also earn points towards discounts at retailers or airport lounge access etc. They have a host of feature I barely use but are mega handy. You can also, if using as the main bank to receive a pay check in, set it up to immediately designate itself to certain areas from the get - additionally, you can also set up your monthly budget spend limit (something I should do but would make me sad ... perhaps more reason to do it.) I have had a positive experience using the Revolut app for managing my finances. The app is very user-friendly and makes it easy to track spending, send money instantly, and manage different currencies in one place. I particularly like the real-time transaction notifications and the ability to control my card directly in the app, such as freezing or unfreezing it if needed. The budgeting and analytics features also help me monitor my spending habits and manage my money more effectively. only downside is can not deposit cheques or use the card at a post office Reviewed on: 9th March 2026
