Driver shaft repair.

Driver shaft broke when trolley was blown over in high winds on golf course. Contact made with Ripe insurance.. customer service and communication experience was excellent. Photo of damage and original receipt uploaded. Was given the go ahead to have it repaired. Repair Receipt forwarded and £79.99 was in my account within a few days. No quibbling or delay. i have an insurance with ripe for yoga teaching business, i was paying by instalments and than i realised i might get bad credit because of this, so i called Ripe and paid the full amount to pay it to premium credit, and stopped paying monthly instalments, suddenly i started to receive letters from premium credit demanding the money. i tried to call ripe but you have to stay on the phone for hour or so before someone answers and now they stopped replying to my emails, Reviewed on: 25th April 2025

Ripe ought to be called Rip(e)off.

Ripe ought to be called Rip(e)off. I took out Gold standard insurance 5-years ago with “24-hour cover” up to £5k and renewed year on year. But 3-weeks ago my car was broken into m-tech golf trolly and other accessories stolen CCTV coverage shows this at 3.35am. Despite this and a crime report, + provision of proof of payment Ripe declined to compensate me at all, stating I was only covered going to, from or at a golf course, which was never made clear and is buried deep in their T&C’s that are not easily obtained or visual. So my advice is beware of RIP(e)Off companies such as this Reviewed on: 27th January 2025
