I contacted the Scottish Building Society by phone, and Lisa McKay, at the Edinburgh branch, talked me through the process, and posted me out the documents required for the transfer of ownership. On there Birthday, I phoned again to make sure everything had been received OK. and Deirdre at the Troon Branch, asked me some security questions, told me she would check everything had been processed, and call me back to confirm. Deirdre called me back at 3pm that day, to confirm everything had been processed correctly, and my daughters savings were transferred into there bank accounts around the same time.
